TTFN

I was a compulsive note-writer in high school. I used to pass notes with my friends constantly. About everything. About nothing.

I had one friend--a hilarious, troubled girl with curly hair, who used to sign her notes TTFN, short for Ta Ta For Now. I think it was some kind of reference to Winnie the Pooh.

Anyway. I haven't thought of that particular sign off in years. But I find myself thinking of TTFN lately, because it's time for me to sign off. I've been writing in this blog for over a year now, and I feel that I've said all I have to say. It's time to do something different for awhile.

I like TTFN b/c it doesn't seem permanent. It's like I'm taking a break. It's not forever, it's just for now. So maybe I'll be back someday, if I find something else to say.

So in the meantime, I'd like to wish you all well. You've been so kind to me, and to spiceboy, and most recently to Betty, and you've become our companions as we go about our daily business.

So write well, dear readers, and read well, too. It's been wonderful getting to know all of you.

So, that's it. That's all.

TTFN,

East Side Girl
