I try to resist but I can't help it...
I am powerless in the face of it...
I get weak in the knees at its mere mention...
I will gladly skip a dinner out at the most fabulous of Manhattan restaurants just so I can watch it...
That's right, I'm obsessed with American Idol.
And I can't stop watching until Bucky Convington gets voted off of the show--even if it means watching that annoying Old Navy commercial over and over again.
I'll do what I have to do.
Bucky has got to go.

That's so funny! I just wrote about American Idol! I can't bear Ace. I just cannot bear the thought of him for one more instant. You are right, though. What rock did he crawl out from under to curse our tv? Go be on the Country Americal Idol, Bucky! And take your damn twin brother with you!!!!
D, I COMPLETELY agree! Bucky, you need to go elsewhere, and take hopped-up Paula Abdul and Ryan Seacrest with you.
Can you BELIEVE Mandisa was voted off? I LOVE Mandiva (you know it's bad when you use the Fox manufactured nicknames, but I will NEVER have the McPhever). I can tolerate Ace being around for a bit longer... memories of him singing Father Figure carry me through... Oh, Mandisa...
i cannot stand ace. what a tool. i'm with you that bucky has got to go. he looks like a trailer-park meth head. or at least in my head that is what he looks like.
am very sad that mandisa was voted off, i really wish it woul dhave been paris instead, but whatever. i guess when ryan seacrest said last night, 'if you are disappointed with who is in the bottom 3, ask yourself, did you pick up the phone and vote?'

Chris is my man. I was thrilled Mandissa got voted off- never did like her style of singing. Hope Paris is next- then Kelly, as there is very little country I like. Bucky is like that cousin at the black-tie affair that reminds you that some people really do prefer buffalo wings and Miller to champagne and truffles. Ace needs me (well, when I was single) to bring the "man" out in him... heh.

I was hooked two years ago, skipped last year, and have not watched it too much this year. But I agree with you. Is the name Bucky intended, like, ironically?
